Lavezzola (RA), May 2023 – The new “Guide to Food Pairings with 20 Auteur Cocktails” is now available, created by Surgital for Fiordiprimi®, our range of deep-frozen single-portion ready meals designated for the Bar channel. This publication collects together the recipes published in the magazine Bargiornale from 2018 to today, the fruit of a collaboration between Surgital’s chefs from De Gusto – Pasta Academy, and bartenders from top Italian bars. Together, they have developed charming serving suggestions for Fiordiprimi® in food pairings with cocktails for complete, satisfying meals even at the bar.
These suggestions offer a different interpretation of ready meals, which lends itself to many different uses and clients: while on one hand, serving a meal directly in the tray it is packaged and reheated in is highly convenient in terms of speed and resources to dedicate to preparation, with these tips, you have the opportunity to curate your service a little more in order to increase the perception of quality and generate higher margins.
Every recipe is accompanied by a cocktail developed by a bartender, with its own presentation. These are divided into Evergreen, such as Ravioli with plum tomatoes and basil with American White; Risotti, such as Risotto alla Marinara with Seaside Martini; Regionali, for example Garganelli with prawns and courgettes with Exotic Special Daiquiri; and finally Sfizi, such as Aubergine Parmigiana with Americano Campagnolo. The guide concludes with cooking instructions. In every suggestion, our Fiordiprimi® are plated with a chef’s touch that is easy to recreate, but has a big impact, in order to bring out and enhance the specific dish in line with the style of the bar.
The recipe book can be browsed directly on Surgital’s website in the Fiordiprimi® news section. On every advertising announcement from the brand, there will also be a QR code on the printed version and online, which offers direct access to the guide. It will also be given a lot of visibility on the Fiordiprimi® social media channels. This investment reaffirms how great these products are for bars, giving them the possibility to offer their clients delicious, quick, convenient food options. Despite requiring no effort in their preparation, these dishes can also be reinterpreted in more sophisticated, original and creative ways thanks to the constant ideas Surgital offers to sector professionals, to transform eating out into a gratifying experience and give ready meals a more charming identity.
