Hands-on pasta. The customer experience, according to Surgital.17 March 2023
Surgital was founded on understanding of tradition and love for Emilia-Romagna, a land of great culinary traditions. For us, doing business also means opening up to the world and spreading the values of Italian cuisine.
Surgital was founded on understanding of tradition and love for Emilia-Romagna, a land of great culinary traditions. For us, doing business also means opening up to the world and spreading the values of Italian cuisine. Italy is beauty. Warmth. Passion. Tradition. Italy is not merely a country but a lifestyle. And we at Surgital are part of this Italy. This is why, some time ago, we coined the slogan “Made of Italy”, expressing our pride in our country and our desire to preserve and promote tradition through our products, bringing fresh pasta to kitchens all around the world.
The customer’s involvement is therefore fundamental for Surgital. This is a relationship born out of appreciation for our products, but it has developed into training activities, and activities to develop the market. A fundamental partner in this relationship is our team of De Gusto® chefs, who, here in Lavezzola, and more and more often on tour around Italy and the world, pass on the culture of good Italian food to our customers and the market, with a vision that goes beyond just demonstrations and showcooking.
In recent years, we have worked hard to perfectly orchestrate even the moment that customers are welcomed to the company. Today, this task is entrusted to the expert hands of Laura Soglia, who has been walking the halls of Surgital for 9 years, and now accompanies our customers on an emotional tour to discover the company’s values and its production facility.
From their welcome in Sala Garganelli, Surgital’s most iconic pasta format, where they dive into the history of Surgital, starting from the company profile, to a tour through production to discover, just like in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, the magical movement of the machines, which gently encapsulate the unique flavour of perfectly-created fillings in delicate tortelli, ravioli, panciotti and much more.
The tour always ends at De Gusto®, our Pasta Academy, where recipes and products are born, and customers, suppliers and collaborators come to see who we are and how we work to create and offer the best of fresh pasta, Made in Italy.
Taking care of our relationship with our customers is a continually evolving project, because we are convinced that the success of a company is primarily based on its relationship with its most important stakeholders, customers.
