Surgital has long partnered with major international retailers, producing private-label products on their behalf. That is why Surgital exhibited at the 48th PLMA – World of Private Label – held in Amsterdam on 20–21 May. In some European countries, private-label products now account for more than 40 % of retail sales. This is a huge opportunity: Surgital’s appeal in this channel stems from more than forty years of producing high-quality frozen fresh pasta for the catering industry, later complemented by sauces and, with a focus on quick-service dining, a wide range of ready meals.
