Best Sous Chef: Surgital awards Dino Como

The historic collaboration with Identità Golose continues, in whose Milanese Hub the official fresh pasta is Divine Creazioni®

Lavezzola (RA), March 2023 – Also this year Surgital took part in the official presentation of the Identità Golose Guide to Auteur Restaurants 2023 held on March 27 at the Manzoni Theatre in Milan where, as usual, the award ceremony was held for the talents of Italian catering. Surgital, with the top-of-the-range line of fresh pasta Divine Creazioni, for the fifth year had the honor of rewarding the “best sous chef“, which in this edition is Dino Como, from Chietino in Abruzzo class 1989. 

Dino Como works at the restaurant of the hotel Reale Casadonna in Castel di Sangro (L’Aquila), the most important in his region, where he entered at the age of 19 as an intern and distinguished himself for his great passion for dough and mother yeast. He immediately became the right hand man of chef Niko Romito because, as we read in the motivation of the award, “he loves to close the loaves, bone pigeons, fillet trout; timeless gestures of the kitchen, conducted with silence and rigor”.
